Wow You got a chargeback?

This means your in business my friend. It means also you earn cash, and most important, it means your moving money around.  You mean it brought you in trouble for payments you have to make this month?

Let me explain you a few ground rules you have to learn to respect and work with.
Sales are never final until the credit card company a sale is made with her charge back time is invalid ( some have 6 months, some more ) So, in logical terms ( cause i tend to stay complex ) your sales can be deducted from your account till at least 6 months after payment.

So here you are, looking at your account stats, showing you a MINUS 300 $
Does this affect your mood, yes it does. Does this make you desperate? Oohh yeah it will…..

But here comes the kicker, see, this sponsor has lost money thanks to your traffic, so they are pissed off, and it is not even your own mistake ( let`s assume that for a moment ) a surfer just abused his rights to chargeback and toke before he did that a lot of porn online away. People like this are like parasites on your website. You can miss those people for sure!!

Eliminate risks is how you avoid those people. how to do this?

1 : Redirect certain countries to a sponsor that knows how to convert it. Mostly these are Pay Per Phone sponsors, cause a Pay Per Phone is not easy to chargeback at all. Lets say, it is impossible :) Only when the client can prove to his provider fraud or whatever, believe me, this is hard to do.

2 : Tell on your website that you have also TRAIL programs. This gives people, who are easy charge backing, the option to be for free 3 days long in the website and cancel whenever during those 3 days without paying anything. This eliminates a few % of the possible fraudsters. And sponsors do PAY a one time fee on trails, also canceled trails. Find your sponsor for this and you can work preventive.

3 : A carder, fraud client, or whatever we call them these days search for easy targeted websites. They prefer amateur sites. See, they know a BIG site will do some trouble to prevent fraud, even when a BIG site does not do that, they just think he will. So…. Now comes the part where I start to smile and look at the TUBE sites…. TUBE sites are more victim of chargebacks then anyone else. What is the message of point 3? A quality Content Site makes quality clients, serious buyers. You can re-value your traffic by upgrading certain elements in your website. Make it look better so to say….
Quality helps making sales and keeping them. A bad site will be paying the bill for her laziness with bad clients who dont take your work so serious.

In my whole 11 years in this industry till today, I am still able to count all my charge backs with the fingers I have one 1 hand. I thank this to not aggressive promotion. I build step by step my network and add slowly my updates. I keep my traffic busy for years on this way. This is for me the best and most successful way. Stability brings more vision, vision makes you build smarter, and a smart buildup site is a SELLER, not a chargebacker.

So all in all, we have to deal with this from time to time on our own way. What helped me was that I can speak to some people online, and tell them I am fucked in my ass by some stupid motherfucking dumb ass surfer. I also tell this guy when it involves a live cam program, that I also know the model who got my client has that same chargeback on the moment we speak. I find consultation in this. We never suffer alone. You lost, the sponsor lost, and in some cases, the model lost….

Chargebacks are good, they are a sign, act on it to let them go away in time ;)

Peace….
