How to capture ghost voices!

The dead do talk, and with the help of electronic devices we can hear them! It seems that when ghosts catch on to what we’re doing they try and respond. I must tell you though, it’s usually the ones that are distressed and saddened with despair.

Let’s Get started…

First of all There are three proven ways to gather ghost recordings on tape.
1. Lay the unit down with MIC extended, ask a few questions and walk away for twenty minutes. Or,
2. This time lay the unit down and stay there asking questions and pausing for a response.
3. Gently carry the recorder around with you as you walk. Stop and ask a question, pause for answer then move on to the next stop.

Here are 15  helpful tips

1. Only use new name brand tapes, not department store specials. The better tapes will increase the clarity of the voice you capture and is worth the difference in cost. A tape labeled “normal” from a company such as TDK or Maxell are affordable and fine for use with EVP. Remember, it’s not professional to use a previously recorded tape for something as important as this.
2. If possible, use an EXTERNAL microphone. This will drastically cut down on the motor noises and internal sounds from the recording device. Extend the MIC away from the unit when recording.
3. If you have to talk on an investigation, do it in a normal voice. Whispering can sound like a ghost voice when playing back the tape.
4. Always maintain a positive attitude and expect to get results.
5. As you are recording, be sure to make note of any sounds or noises so as to not confuse it with something paranormal during playback
6. If you’re recording unit has a sensitivity level, adjust it to the highest level possible. A ghost voice is usually very faint and anything we can do will help..
7. Consider setting your unit to “voice activated” mode if it has it. But only do this if your unit is extra sensitive or has the ability to adjust the sensitivity to high.
8. Both digital and regular tape recorders seem to work fine. However, some say that reel to reel and full size cassette players work the best. That could very well be true, especially when using an external MIC, but I haven’t noticed a distinct difference.
9. At the beginning of your recording session state your location, the time, and the weather conditions. This can be very helpful later on
10. Ask the spirits to talk loudly and even shout if possible. We need that voice as loud and clear as possible
11. On playback do not confuse background noise and garble as a ghost voice! If it sounds like it could be background noise, then it most likely is just that
12. There are several programs that can be used to edit your voice results. You can find some of these on the web at Downloads.com & Tucows.com.
13. Oh, and here’s a secret…..when asking questions for a ghostly response, never say “is anyone there?.” ALWAYS act like you know they are there. So say something like “what is your name?” or “is there something I can do for you?” Try it.
14. During playback it is advised that you use earphones that completely cover your ears as to not allow distractions when you’re reviewing for the first time. Oh, and when adjusting the volume make sure it is at a safe level so that  a sudden loud burst will not deafen you
15. Always express your gratitude at the end of the recording session. They like it when you say Thank you

That will cover your ass in a 1on1 with a ghost. Remind tip 15, it`s like leaving the restaurant without tipping the waiter, you know he will curse you on the moment you leave his place not appreciating his efforts to help you. You tip the waiter, you thank the ghost.

A field hunt to collect Ghost Voice recordings  ( An example of how it might be done )

We entered the Claymont cemetery at 7:05 pm. It was dusk so we walked the grounds to familiarize ourselves with the terrain before dark. We also wanted to allow the spirits to become used to our presence before starting the actual investigation. Tonight we would only be collecting ghost voices known as EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena).

At 7:25 pm we pulled out the equipment. Tonight it would just be audio recording devices for this particular hunt. We would also take the usual cell phone and pepper spray for our own protection. I knew the spirits would be curious about us and I felt confident that they would be willing to communicate with us through our recording devices.

We walked down a path to a secluded area that felt warm and inviting. I pulled out my digital recorder. I made sure the sensitivity setting was on high and that “voice activation” was selected. With this setting, only actual noises and voices would be recorded, thus cutting down on playback time. After hitting the record button, I stated the time (7:45), and that we were at Clayton cemetery. I also noted the conditions as the time.

I preceded to ask three questions. I’m sorry, I know that you are there but I can’t see you, do you see us? What is your name? Do you mind us being here? I mentioned that we would be back in 20 minutes, and for those present to please talk into the recording device. I explained that we would be able to hear their response. We quietly walked away to return in twenty minutes.

My partner had then pulled out his full-sized audio cassette recorder with a fresh, name brand tape inserted. He connected an external MIC and placed it out in front of him in order to avoid feedback and noises from the machine itself. We began walking. He would occasionally ask a question as we walked and then pause for a response. I made a mistake of whispering to him at one point and he quickly noted it on the tape so as not to confuse it as a ghost voice during playback. We felt comfortable as if we were excepted by those around us. As we walked back to retrieve my digital unit, my partner stepped on a branch. He again quickly made note of it on the tape as not to confuse it with something paranormal later on.

We arrived back to where my digital recorder had been placed previously. My partner turned off his recorder and we listened to mine. Since I had it set as voice activated, it only recorded when a noise or voice was heard. So the total recording time was only about four minutes and that included us walking away and returning. There were however, two voices as well! The first sounded very clear of a young woman saying “I’m here” (a class A recording!). The second voice was that of an old man saying “It’s no use”. This voice was not as clear or as loud as the first but definitely and older mans voice (class b recording).

We were very pleased with the results. I and my partner again turned on our recorders and I said thank you for talking to us. I told them we now knew who was there and is there anything else they wanted to say to us before we left? I and my partner both recorded for two more minutes, I then stated the time and said thank you! Nothing else was captured by our recorders but we walked away with great satisfaction in knowing that we made contact that evening!

By the way, we found out later under careful review of my partners tape that he to had collected a class b recording of what sounded like a young child yelling from a distance. It gave us chills! We would return again to Claymont Cemetery.

Always consider all aspects of a haunting
Go into an investigation with a kind heart and gracious attitude. But know that most hauntings can be explained. i.e. house settling, furnace noises etc. And as sad as it is, you must also consider the mental & emotional state of the victim as well. Paranoia, delusional aspects and mental illness in general may be a consideration. As a final note; it should also be stated however, that in some cases, an unstable person can actually be open to these types of visitors and or attacks.

So are you one of those types who thinks Ghosts are real? Are you actually hunting one? Or is a ghost ripping up your personal life so bad you freak out every minute of the day and are ready for some serious hospitalization in a secured unit. Nevertheless, what if I am wrong and short minded and ghosts are part of this world? Wow, yeah well…. Ehhh ignorance is a blessing!!

Nevertheless,  I found 25 tips for you that help you on your way in your ghost hunt.

1. Let them (ghosts & spirits) know they are not forgotten
   Let your journey in this field of study be a labor of love.  Remember to be respectful of ghosts & sprits, as they were once people, and still are for that matter.
2. Never tease, threaten or dare an unseen entity
   First of all, we want to be taken seriously. Secondly, we are ghost hunters, not bullies. Lastly, we sure don’t want any vindictive entities following us home or worse yet, attacking and hurting us.
3. Conduct yourself as a professional at all times
   We always want to present ourselves as one in control. And that of course means around other investigators, victims of a haunting, and even to the ghosts themselves. Self-confidence and control will radiate like a beacon of light and thus serve as a shield of protection.
4. Never seek out entities on your own
   A team of two works well and three is the ideal number. Larger groups will need to break up into smaller groups.
5. Addicting habits can be contradictory to your ghostly pursuits
   Examples would be heavy addictions to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, an abnormal sex drive, etc. These things in excess make you vulnerable and susceptible to attack. The attack stems from the entities attraction to your addictions and also because of your weakness. Mind altering substances are particularly enticing to them.
6. Pay attention to your dreams
   Entities will use this relaxed state of mind & body to try and influence or torment it’s targeted victim. Use whatever wording is necessary (according to your own spiritual beliefs) to command such an intrusion to cease. Command it in the holy name of your God or higher power.
7. Use religious relics & symbols as a protection
   But only use these if you believe in what they can do. It’s not the item itself that has the power, it’s what it symbolizes according to your faith. That’s what actually gives it its power.
8. Listen to your instincts and your intuition
   Draw from the power within. You will find this to be your greatest resource.
9. Never leave a team member behind, not ever
   Commit yourself to the task at hand until it’s done. A combined effort makes the team a whole intricate working structure.
10. Always consider all aspects of a haunting

That is, unless they are invited in or find a way in through your weaknesses. Be strong by curving appetites and living a productive & wholesome life.
12. Be familiar with all aspects of the supernatural
    Know well the entities you pursue. Understand them and the things of their world. Knowledge is power. The more you know, the more confident you become. Be careful though, not all knowledge is good. Acquire it with a scientific standpoint.
13. Your best protection is in the life you lead
    If you are active in ghostly pursuits then evil will cross your path, so be armed. If you are religious, then live your religion. But whether you are or not, you best protection is to live so as to put others first. Good deeds and a love for all life is your greatest protection.
14. Don’t be afraid to experiment
    Not everything you try will work. If one attempt or theory fails, keep trying. Simply move on to the next thing on your list. And by all means, have a list.
15. Do your homework
    Consider all aspects of an investigation before you go. A preliminary walk through ahead of time is advised. Doing a history check is helpful as well. Anything you can find out ahead of time will be to your advantage.
16. Never be without outside contact
    Make sure others outside your team are aware of where you are when on an assignment or investigation. A cell phone is a must.
17. Demonic Possession
    It’s extremely rare that you will ever hear of a full-fledged demonic possession. But it is something that all ghost hunters need to be aware of and briefed on. Full-possession requires an “invitation” in order to gain a foothold. However, there are activities that can be construed as an invitation. i.e. Ouija boards, séances, etc. A person with heavy addictions, sins, depression or someone who is desperately lonely are more apt to be targets. When any type of invitation is construed, whether implied or direct, it may very well be acted upon by such evil entities. Even with all that, it’s still rare that evil will triumph successfully, but it is possible in some cases. Ghost hunters are somewhat susceptible because of the nature of their work.
18. Lower Level Entities
    There are other less severe life forms that we need to be aware of as well. They are evil and are here to weaken the population through their influence. Their ultimate goal is to distract us from our life duties and make us as unproductive as possible. These creatures are subtle but very much determined. People that allow themselves to be heavily influenced in this direction are also more prone to demonic possession. This type of entity uses distraction through such things as computers, video games, unwholesome activities, etc. If you miss out on important family outings or you lose your job because you want to stay home and play video games, etc, then they have gained some control. It’s called, lower level possession. Ghost hunters need to avoid this trap at all cost. Refer to codes 5, 6, 11 & 13. And for a good resource, buy a book on Psychic Self-Defense
19. Be scientifically minded
    Strive to prove the existence of ghosts and the afterlife. We as Ghost Hunters cannot simply rely on the word of someone with a particular gift. We need to know for ourselves and we need to document it in our studies.
20. Rely on your senses
    Be ever mindful of your own awareness. We are all born with the gift of inspiration. We also have a bell (so to speak) that sounds off when we are in danger. It’s a gift that needs to be focused on. Constantly pay attention to this special ability that we all have. Especially when on an investigation. As you become more aware and in tune, you will be able to better sense ghosts & other types of entities.
21. Evidence is everything
    All we really have to show for our hard word is the evidence we collect. So take notes, write up reports, snap pictures, collect EVPs. Keep a log.
22. Be aware that theories change
    What is believed to be true today may not be tomorrow. If there’s anything we can depend on, it’s change. What we may know about ghosts today may change tomorrow. We need to embrace credible evidence and use that knowledge to our advantage. So be willing to let go of old theories when need be. If we don’t, we will be left behind.
    
23. Expect Results
    Go into every assignment with an attitude of well defined purpose. Go knowing you have your preliminary research accomplished beforehand and then have a plan to make it all come together. A good investigator is organized and thorough. The right attitude yields results!
24. It’s okay to be afraid
    That is, as long as it doesn’t seriously effect the investigation or make you especially vulnerable.
    Excessive fear will make you ineffective as a contributing team member and will make you a target for entities. Excessive fear or anger feeds and empowers curtain types of entities. Enjoy the thrill of the chase and scream if you must. But everything in moderation.

Q : Reading a few of your postings on GFY and AWE, are you filled with hate or something?
A : Walk 1 day in my shoes, and also add up my 10 experience in this industry this year. I have seen a lot, going from zero to hero and from hero to certified scammer. For many people this industry is new, and interesting. But every day new people join our industry, it is hard to keep explaining them the rules. I am filled with a Justification of that what is not correct. As soon a sponsor, owner, webmaster, starts to kick my poles or moral, I am on the case and beat the shit out of him whenever wherever online.

Q : Can you give a few examples?
A :  Last year VideoSecrets decided to drop an affiliate with a payout of more then 7000$, it toke me 3 weeks to get a thread so big and hard that the sponsor was forced to payout, and change terms and rules so a repeat of this ” mistake ” was not possible anymore.  Summing up fact after fact, staying fair and realistic is the way to keep a thread going, but with anger as motivation. It is like a real fight…  My Second example is an adult webmaster who exploited a large collection of sites and made a reputable amount of sales. He did use however keywords that we`re illegal. I summed up his mistakes, and brought the case in forum AWE. He was banned and deleted that same day.

Every month at least 2-3 fights are made. Sponsors are not stable, and correct. A lot of programs are managed by people with a very dark history and sometimes even a criminal background.

My last example is that of HOWIGOTRICH.com. A program owner finds out that his SEO skills suck and 1 affiliate makes sales on a skill the program owner underestimated. However this affiliate made a lot of sales, but HOwIGotRich was stunned it was done on a SEO way they forgot. HOWIGOTRICH decided to drop payouts and kill his account.
The fight toke 10 days, program is down the toilet, the owner can kiss his ass good bye to many affiliates. The affiliate got paid after 2 weeks, but this toke an epic thread!

Q : What is an Adult Webmaster in your eyes.
A : Anyone who can generate stable income with minimal 1 sponsor every month again by running his own website is in my eyes a webmaster.

Q : How big is your family.
A : Very small. I left home when I was still young. I was taken away by the police and placed in prison home for Boys. I am married now and plan my own family tree.

Q : Care to tell a little about this prison thing?
A : It is simple, when I was taken away, I was still minor, and there was no place to bring me anywhere. They decided to place me in ” Poortje ” in Groningen. He did registrar on the day of her death the names of her children in .com shape. He tried to sell them on GFY under the motivation that her kids would end up as porn models also, so why not exploit them right now…..

Tell me, how stupid was this he? A Epic Fail if you ask me. Sean Lee has many more of those fails on his name.

Q : Who is the best webmaster and why?
A : That nomination goes to Andree, a German friend of mines. I have followed his work and progress, and speak with him on a daily bases. His motivations for this work are more pure then any other webmaster. He is taking up skills I wished I had on the day I started.

Q : Who`s is your  best sponsor?
A : Without a doubt, that’s Streamray.com. I work with them since 2002, and generate bi weekly payouts since then. I am proud to say that I generated for them many many many sales every day again until they stop being a sponsor. I still hope that day is far after I am gone

Q : Who`s your worst sponsor.
A : Without a doubt this is AWEmpire.com. They have taken a hammer and slammed all the affiliate trust.  If you want a co-branded site, you drop from 35% to 15% and higher it as soon you have more sales.

They also toke the refferal webmaster income away, from a life time to 12 months. So when you bring in good webmasters, you loose the bonus after 12 months, and this is how AWE thanks you for bringing in a new affiliate.

Something that was so beautiful is completely ripped apart . Only a strong argument in the AWE forum sometimes turns back the time and things get back to old. But that time is done now… They are number 1 now according Alexa, and they have no idea it is done by themselves with the massive buys of advertisement on tube sites and other  projects.

Q : Is there a program that you want to improve?
A : If I was given the option to do so, I would improve MovieDollars.com. The program is unique, and the content is super original. I would improve their affiliate tools and make sure MovieDollars understands what we ( affiliate webmasters ) really want. MovieDollars is one of those programs I will always keep an eye on.

Q : What is shaving?
A : Shaving is a short word, but means a lot. Shaving can be done by Cross selling. The program places in their member areas banners to other programs you perhaps also send traffic to. Shaving can also be done by placing non related affiliate links on the sales page it self, mostly in the footer.  Shaving is also placing a LIVE DATE banner above a cam site, and yet, the affiliate gets no commission for this. Shaving can also mean that a sponsor does not credit you for a sale. Shaving is a short word, but it can be used on many ways.

Q : Do you trust sponsors?
A :Never!!! The most healthy idea is to NOT trust your sponsor, but learn to trust your own traffic, your still a webmaster!

Q : Do you cheat or spam?
A : Do you fuck a dog in his ass when he barks at you? I don’t think so he

Q : How do you live your day?
A : I wake up at 7, and work on the farm. I feed my animals, and inspect my land on break inns. After 2 hours I take a modest breakfast and read the news paper from Holland. I just cant help it to read how my previous mother land is doing. After that I inspect my emails and messages, just to see if I missed something. I check my servers, and reboot where Its needed.  12 O clock is dinner time. I have a maid who does the cooking and cleaning. I dont cook myself, and my wife is mostly in the hospital doing her work. At 4 o clock I start updating my sites with new content, at 6 I am eating again, and then from 7 to 2 in the night I keep updating sites. at 3 I sleep, and 4 hours later I wake up again.

Q : A Farm? Excuse me, what did I missed?
A : Yes, I am a farmer, in Romania since this year. I bought a farm villa and the land around it. Started to renovate it a few months later with a complete new setup for the farm. I renovated the inside and outside. Planed ecological garden space of more then 7000M2. I have workers maintaining it, and this makes it easier for me to run this amazing big farm. This property I bought from the sponsor income I generate.  I never use banks or people for my money,  I am that Cash Kind of guy

A :  I was with much pleasure in Holland, living in a nice house near the sea side in the North Of Holland. I lost a person very dear to me last year. So you might have noticed that I was 2 months not online on my blog, or my network.
As some might know, I am a married men, and I am also a full time Farmer. Yeah… Some people even know I dont do the work myself, I have workers for this. They work for a salary like I work for mines.

Anyway, in October my Wife told me she was expecting a little newcomer in our family. As happy I was, I was more then motivated to give my Sun or Daughter a nice home, a place to feel safe and at home. Our Baby is in trouble, and the pregnancy needs to be terminated. 1 Week later we look back together to those 2 months of joy, making plans, growing together closer…… It is all a black hole now. A empty space. Silenced conversations, evenings in darkness.

Emotions come and go. And then it is my job to take my wife her hands, and make sure she does not sink deeper in a black hole she was digging for herself.

I have learned one important thing. You are not able to help your partner if your not able to help yourself first. I have a speed course in expecting life and saying goodbey to it now. It toke me 2 days to put the last 2  months in perspective and deal with it. Thanks to my already hard previous life, I am better able to deal with disaster moments. I survived more then many of you dare to think, keeping this in front of my eye, solving emotional issues is more a challenge for me now. After Day 2 I was able to tell me wife excact what she needed to hear. And as lightning in a sunny sky she switched that button and was on my side.

I consider that If I would have told this sooner she might have doubted my words. I had to confinse my wife I was also suffering. She was only thinking she was alone in this. And suffering together makes it go away faster is what I have learned in my life, and on that way I saved my wife, and myself.

2 months I needed to deal with changes and rewinding changes. The December month has started a 4 days now, tomorrow it is 5 December in Holland. Sinterklaas is coming. To all Dutch readers, Geniet van de heilige man nu het nog kan.

Jezus Fucking Shit…

I have been lazy for more then 1 month, not even sharing my frustration with you on this blog. And that is good, I was hoping my modest self control training would help, and i am confident my problems are not yours anymore. I was also fighting with a group of webmasters. Fighting about money, money I did not owed them, but they begged for it.

Months as these make the poor webmaster begg and work on my sentiment. First they tell me how good I must be and how I maintain such a big network. After that they tell me I have a lot of respect from him and his friends. After that it comes. THEY NEED CASH.

The steps from nothing to a loan…..

Step 1  He – She will compliment you with your achieved work and results.
Step 2 He – She will explain they have a troubled situation and money can help them out.
Step 3 They we`re never intended to ask you, but they have NO WHERE to go.

After I have send a email back with the most standart answer I have for everyone:

” Hello, I am sorry for your situation, but are not by power to move money from my company to you, my suppervisor will doubt my transaction and this will costs me my work ”

Step 4 He – She understands your answer, and thank you for the time you have spend to make this replay.
Step 5 He – She starts doing business. The amount of money is being lowered and Step 1 starts again.

Fact is, after step 4, they should leave you alone and respect the answer. For those who dont, and continue step 5, make your chest wet, cause your still in his eye.

heya dear reader….

I was away for 2-3 weeks as you can see, but I have valid reasons.

1. I have to renovate a farm that screams for attention
2. my wife is trying to get to know me better, so we spend some more time together
3. I have hardly any energy left after a day of hard work in the open air to open my systems

OK, deal with it, I am a busy guy. I run a farm with animals and 8000M2 of ecologial garden. Since I bought the farm, there was still life on it, but the owners did not worked on it anymore. In the last 3 weeks I was a busy little bugger demanding YES for an answer and tollerated no delays or excusses.

The renovation of the farm contains the following fases

1. I an renewing and pumping up now my own water, and are able to feed the farm with cold and warm streaming water. I can deliver around 30 Liters per minute thanks to my pumps and water pipe system.
2. Bathroom Kitchen Renovation. These 2 are in the same part of the Back house of the farm. They deserve a complete renovation. A new floor has to be made. A new kitchen interior. 2 weeks of work, starts on 1 October. The bathroom will be done in the same time, the bathroom will have also a separated toilet corner. The kitchen will be 40 M2 and the bathroom and toilet 30 M2
3. The hall way from back house to Front house will be painted and renovated with new lights and floor.
4. The electrical wire mission has been done today. Since last week a electrical installation service team was here to take all the power cables out and away. All the wires are replaced with new wires and EU certified isolation pipes to secure the house 100%. around 1500 meters of cable is used to replace 800 meters off old and damaged wires. A third wire is added to secure the whole electricity network from a fatal power blow. All the plugs are renewed and dimmers are added.
5. The front house of the farm is fine, solid and nothing wrong with. It actually needs no renovation at all. But my wife wants a nice life, so we need to make a living room, a Work room for me, and a Bed Room. We have 3 large rooms in the front house. The rooms are wide and open. I have a free feeling of breathing when entering the Front House.

So .. for the next months I have still plenty of work to do.

I also have 8000M2 of garden to maintain and keep fresh. So for this I have my workers. But today I was not in the mood to see them. I harvested the corn today, I started at 1 O clock and was done at 10 O clock. I toke  by hand, and cut them with a corn knife ( those you see in ” the children of the corn ” ) I cut my fingers a few time, and I was pretty pissed of today, and used this energy to take a small 50 Kilos of corn total. I am tomorrow busy with cleaning the corn and packing it up for the winter, the corn looks to bad, so it will be food for the pig extra, it is a small bag also, kind of disappointing considering the fact that corn toke a lot of space of my garden, and was not really productive for me. I am going tomorrow for sure back in the garden to clean the mess I left behind and plow the ground and find me a better product for that space.

So, When my work office in the front house will be ready in october, I will be more online. For now I will have to find that creative moment when I am done with work, and sometimes i fall asleep at the dinner table and my wife drags me to bed..

Outdoors life in this wildernis here is more then a dream. it is a fucking adventure every day again. Everything can happen, and yet, all those moments I am aware of who I am, i feel happiness cause of beeing so close to nature. This is also for the first time in 33 years I experience some sort of a HOME feeling. What my parents we`re not able to give me, i can now give myself and perhaps to my future kids.

I do think back offten to those years I was a kid, and not aware of Adults and how they had to fight for a living. Never the less, I cant feel sad about it, i just experience huge floods of emptyness around my heart.

For now, i got get some sleep my friends, It is 11 AM, and I am so TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a HAPPY Tjeezer!!!

Sales go back, from a whooping 40 $ a day since past year the sky rocket to 100-150$ per day is broken and the 200 a day Lines is coming up. All the Rev Share Webmasters See an Increase. All the Pay Per Sale webmasters see their income go down and down. For those who sold their visitors to Insane PPS Programs during the last year, those are the people now paying the bill. For all those who got paid 100$ per sale, and brought in a few hundred clients, those people, those webmasters, those marketeer fools are now asking themselves, where are my re-billers??

You sold them fool. No sponsor pays so much without a good reason!!!

Everyone who is doing Revshare Life Time projects, HAIL TO THOSE! Tjeezers is on his knees for those who are just as smart as himself. I can say, and many concur, we have the power of the re-billing in our client database, not on our website. We toke the client 1 time inside and kept him there. In the mean time we could evolute in design and in marketing and find more life time spenders and faster in with more leverage.

I hail to those who are now laughing like me, and praising themselves for the time spend in dark times on work alone. Never lost faith, never lost hope, you worked like me, 16-20 hours a day behind the computer, until you we`re sick of it, but hunger after 1 day of rest for more money and more fame, more goals, more evidence of being a winner, not a looser, not a fool, not a jealous guy who pisses of everyone but himself.

September is back, with more money then last year. People are GOING to spend again, there will be a moment those wallets open up again, wider, bigger, faster, and without the limitations we endured last year.

I hail all those webmasters who are signed up under me, and those who never told me they did cause they were afraid never to make sales, but they do, and did, and I know, but they don’t know I know.

Somewhere in 2005-2006

On one of my  trips, a flight to one of my clients, I made a crucial mistake. While I was at his place running down the last numbers, I got a call from KLM that I needed to confirm my ticket, I was so caught up in the client his numbers, I told them, Herby I confirm I fly back. For some reason the meeting was longer as planned, and I extended the flight back. But something went wrong. Anyways, I was still unaware of the danger awaiting me on my flight back.

After I spoke to my client about the last changes, he asked me for my flights, I told him everything was planned, and when I land with the plane, the last train will be leaving to my town 50 minutes later. I lived in that time In Holland in a small coast town very deserted from the cities. It was 5 hour travel to come there at my house. For some reason I loved that place, it was a world on it self. Not needed influences from outside to keep her personality as town!

I was looking forward to sitting in my own room on my own chair, smoking one of my special cigarettes and closing down a hectically week with no progress, only hopes and more dreams… Life is an adventure.

While I was ordering a cab, and timing my whole trip back, I made the needed phone calls to make sure at home I would be expected, and all I would need would be there. In that period of time i was dealing with an addiction. Cola addiction. So I called to my house, where Sandra answered the phone, and told her I would be back at 2 in the night catching the last train. Sandra was joyful about my travel back, she missed me also. Sandra was my confidant and partner in everything. We were together for 11 years. She died. About this more in time on this blog.

My watch was always set 5 minutes in front. To make sure I would not neglect my responsibilities and schedules, I lived on the 5 minutes forward thing. My laptop was packed, I would be home in around 12 hours, and enjoying something i missed so much. The feeling of home and forgetting all business while you enjoy the presence of people who love you. I was joyful when the cab was on time, even 3 minutes earlier, I said good bey to my client, and told him I would contact him when I would arrive home.

The travel to home would be very unexpected and filled with situations that ask a On Demand Control of your way of thinking. Otherwise you can kiss your ass goodbye.

The cab driver asked for instructions how to come to the airport. And what was the name of the airport. Instantly on that same moment he asked me this I knew I toke a wrong cab. Suddenly the monument of Bucharest donated by Franc is turning to my right and we head for a direction I am sure we should not go for. I asked the cab to stop, gave him 10 Lei, and knew I was sure I left him a tip of more then 2 Lei. I stepped out, he started to talk and asked me different things. I did not mind, this guy was not part of my schedule, he would bring my whole travel in a danger. The 3 extra minutes he gave me with coming early, plus the green light gulf  in the city he enjoyed while driving not to fast, saved me at least 10 more minutes. I found 2 meters from me a Airport Taxi and knew that on that moment my Angel was watching me and helping me. Air condition included, I told him to bring me to Airfield. He spoke English and asked me why I left the cab in front of him? I told him, no time to talk, I have a plane to catch Sir, would you please accept this money, 50 Lei, and make no doubt and bring me right now?

He amazed how controlled I looked at him while asking him this in 1 breath without showing him I was in a hurry.

Yeah this was the guy who fitted in my schedule. The speed he used was to comfort me that he understood I was in a hurry and not wanted to make him a victim of this. This made him more then generous and toke a few orange lights. I thanked him for this. I calculated a drive of a small 10 minutes and asked him for his personal life. He has 2 kids, his wife loves him very much. But his wife would die soon, she had cancer. While he toke orange light number 3, i was sure he understood emotions and fears and pains, and I felt instant sorry for him. I asked him how he would see life after his wife would die. he this time not toke the orange light, and stopped. I was confident no one ever asked him this question, I felt just obligated to do so. I also realized i might hit a nerve and he could pull a fist on me.

He went from sober to humble and told me his wife helped him find a partner for the kids. This was arranged by the family also. A close friend of the family was introduced to him and this was the wife his wish. He went along with he explained, and I was so sure I would never forget this cab driver his story. While we had another 55 seconds for the red light ( yes they count down the green light on the traffic lights ) he showed me his kids, pictures of his wife, and his probably new wife when his wife dies. I had nothing much to say, and I wished him a wise period in this all cause I also explained him I could find no words to say so stunned I was by his story he told me in a 3-4 minutes time.

He brought me to my airfield nice on time, and while I decided to step out, I toke a brief moment, and knew that In Holland all my Lei`s were worth jackshit, and a re tour to Romania was not expected soon, I gave him a few bills of 50 Lei left, and i decided to keep 50 myself for some coffee on the airport.
He was nice enough  to step out and make sure I was at the check in. He risked a fine for this, and while I looked back and seen him stepping in his cab again, he started looking for my eyes, he found them, and I gave him a wave of good bey and a smile of hope. If my angel would be so nice to give him a few lucky breaks?

The tickets we`re accepted, passport was slide over to a pair of strange hands, and my luggage was nice on the correct weight. Till so fare no issues. A small stop in Madrid and I would be on my way home for sure.
Still, something did border me. My e-ticket was confirmed to Madrid, and from there I had a second e-ticket to Amsterdam, but that one was not checked. I felt like my schedule was going to good, and something should have gone wrong. On that same moment I caught myself challenging the law of Murphy, and I decided to accept that a good schedule is a good thing.

After 1.5 hours my flight was up for checking, and i was moving myself to the passport and ticket machine. While I did this a new feeling of stress came suddenly over me. The ticket they stitched on my passport was for my luggage, and this destination was Madrid also, not Amsterdam.  OK, i suddenly realized that Madrid was my end destination, and I had to confirm my ticket from Madrid to Amsterdam also instead of only confirming from Bucharest to Madrid. 2 Flights, 1 confirmed, and this one I was just sitting in now.

So actually I have a worthless e ticket in my hands from Madrid to Amsterdam… I am in DEEP DEEP DEEP shit. This was not a moment to flip out for me, cause I was not very sure I was making a good conclusion. I would just board on Madrid to Amsterdam, and see what they say? yeah… I was a Dutch men, one with originality and no need to fear. I would come home tonight. I would sleep on my chair and forget about all!!!!

The meal on this flight brought me more panic. Dutch Cheese, and Dutch bread. Wonderful, more Dutch reminders on my trip, Tax free shopping, yeah, buy a KLM replication for 45 Euros, What you think I am sick or what, i pay 300 Euro for this flight alone, you should give me one for free. But lucky for the steward I was having this argument in my brain.

Suddenly I realized, I paid for the WHOLE flight back, so there should be a way to get it without having to pay for a new ticket. Full with stress and anger about my own stupidity, i walked of the plane in Madrid, toke my luggage and went to the KLM check inn desk  on Madrid. Gave her my E ticket and after 5 minutes she started to type on her keyboard.

I actually got the feeling I was panicking for nothing. She is actually confirming my second ticket so I can board this plane to Amsterdam in 90 minutes. Cause it would take 90 of waiting alone and I would be on my way. I was looking behind the women, searching for coffee bars on this airport, and while I made a choice out of the 4 I seen, the women tries to get my attention and says :

Sir, we have no confirmation for you on this flight to Amsterdam, I have checked for other flights Sir, but I could not find one, all flights to Amsterdam are booked. And sir, we can book you how ever on the 7 AM flight next morning to Amsterdam, this would costs 190 Euro. Your ticket is invalid Sir, you have not confirmed it. I checked that you only confirmed the flight from Bucharest to Madrid Sir.

So, what she is trying to say, while i was searching for coffee shops, she already knew what would happen to me, and staid so calm and cool that I did not even noticed it. Wow she is really a cool girl….

Now here comes the Tjeezers into play, and takes over. Cause life gives you situations you have to take full control in otherwise you will loose the situation.

Damage Control. Step by step plan executed on that very moment

1:  take time to think. do not show anyone a emotional reaction ( yet )
2 : Everything is allowed to safe my own ass, as long i stay within the limits of the acceptable.

I had to take at least 10 minutes to recover from emotional panic. I did this on 10 meters from the desk. I made sure the flight officer who was also called to the desk was taken notice of my controlled panic. The trick is to stay in control and to release from time to time a small burst of emotions. never use aggression in any way. use desperation as a motivation. As soon you can transfer this feeling to someone who is really needed in your travel plan, you are winning the game. Nevertheless, some things can not be changed. When the battle is lost on forehand, better enjoy the time you have to wait, cause eating yourself up during the wait can kill you in many ways.
I had 3 Mobile cell phones, all were having roaming, and I could dial to every where i wanted to. I decided to make a few fake phone calls, with a very low voice, but again with bursts from time to time, I spoke in Dutch. Lucky for me, KLM does not put Dutch people on their desks world wide. They hire people from that country. And the luck is, no Italian understands Dutch like they understand English.

I checked in the mean while my boarding time of the plane i was about to miss and stepped back to the desk with a in my eye a decent story that could safe my ass. I explained to the women why I had a unexpected flight back, medical reasons happening on this very moment we speak need my attention. You have to understand that at home I have a very exclusive and rare medical situation with my partner who suffers from a illness that causes her to black out. Today I had my partner on the phone and knew that on the way she formulated her words and the conversations she made were totally insane and this is why i need to get back home, cause an attack is on its way.

I did not made on that moment a lie at all. Unfortunately all I told was true also, i just had that day so much stress with the travel, and while I did called Sandra, and she was talking about a big party and angels and magical people, I never listened realy to her cause I had the phone on my ear while walking and packing bags.

It all hit me on that very moment, and I told the lady to really take my pledge serious and thread this situation serious.

I was ordered to wait in one of the 4 coffee shops.with 35 minutes boarding time on the clock, I toke a coffee, and called at home. Sandra did not answered. not all all… i tried 30 times. no answer, home phone, mobile…..Panic hits in…

20 minutes left on the clock, and the lady walks into the coffee shop with 2 tickets in her hand. She explained me she found someone willing enough to switch flights. She asked me If i could stop making panic, and I could proceed to the boarding area of my flight. I told her I wanted to thank the men who switching flights. She said this was not possible….

With a rushed speed, to prevent I could fuck this up myself by walking slow, i arrived at the check in, and walked into a group of police officers. They we`re talking to a group of people. I could understand that they were explaining to those persons they arrested a German men who was on his way to Amsterdam, but was in possesion of drugs.

I suddenly realized that my Angel was still on my shoulder, cause I knew now how i got on this flight, i changed seat with the druggie, and he got caught, and i win his seat. Well i did paid for it, but I still enjoyed the victory, i was on my way home. And when i arrived at 4 in the night , later as expected, I found my dogs barking at the door….. Alarming me that something was wrong. I stepped into my home and found Sandra on her bed suffering from an attack.

2 hours later I got a call from the doctor she would stay there for a few days. I asked him if she would be OK and all was good? He told me not to worry, being epileptic is not something you can die from.

Yeah, while unpacking my bags, and thinking about Madrid and how I was alarmed half way the trip about what would come next is just to much sometimes… I rolled one of my special cigarettes and enjoyed a re-run of friends on television, and while my cat sleeps on my lap, i go to sleep, knowing a new day comes with new shit, emotions, situations, hospital and webcam stats…

God, I forgot my work totally… as long Sandra is not on the place where she feels best priorities are not on work… But i knew that time more of these situations would come, and it would end some day…

I knew… i always knew…Good things always end some day some where some how. One day my Angel on my shoulder will leave me and help someone else who deserves it.
